Die \u00fcberwiegende Mehrheit der niederl\u00e4ndischen Fahrzeuge unterliegt einer speziellen Kfz-Steuer, der sogenannten BPM, die sich nach den CO\u2082-Emissionen eines Fahrzeugs richtet.<\/p>\n

Bei jedem Verkauf eines Fahrzeugs, das der BPM unterliegt, wird der Restbetrag der BPM-Steuer dem neuen Eigent\u00fcmer in Rechnung gestellt. Wenn dieses Fahrzeug ins Ausland verkauft wird, hat der letzte Besitzer (in diesem Fall OPENLANE Niederlande) Anspruch auf eine R\u00fcckerstattung des Restbetrags dieser Steuer, sofern er den niederl\u00e4ndischen Steuerbeh\u00f6rden eine ausl\u00e4ndische Zulassung als Nachweis f\u00fcr die Ausfuhr vorlegen kann.\u00a0Aus diesem Grund haben die meisten niederl\u00e4ndischen Fahrzeuge ausl\u00e4ndische (in diesem Fall deutsche) Fahrzeugscheine.<\/p>\n
