In den ersten Monaten des Jahres war jedes f\u00fcnfte in Europa verkaufte Auto ein elektrifiziertes Fahrzeug (PHEV oder zu 100 % elektrisch). Der Gro\u00dfteil davon entf\u00e4llt auf EVs, die 77 % der Verk\u00e4ufe innerhalb der Kategorie \u201eelektrifizierte Fahrzeuge\u201d ausmachen, der Rest 23 % sind Plug-in-Hybride. Und auch der Gebrauchtwagenmarkt kommt langsam in Schwung &#8211; zwar noch nicht so schnell wie bei den Neuwagen, aber das liegt daran, dass die ersten Elektroautos mit einer ordentlichen Reichweite erst jetzt ihren Weg auf den Gebrauchtwagenmarkt finden. \u00dcber seine gesamte Lebensdauer hinweg ist ein Elektroauto umweltfreundlicher als ein Auto mit Benzinmotor, aber es birgt dennoch einige \u00f6kologische Herausforderungen. <\/p>\n<h2>Recycling<\/h2>\n<p> Seit 2006 schreibt eine europ\u00e4ische Richtlinie vor, dass mindestens 50 % der Materialien in gebrauchten Batterien und Akkumulatoren recycelt werden m\u00fcssen. Diese Richtlinie sieht auch vor, dass der Hersteller &#8211; also der Autohersteller &#8211; verpflichtet ist, die gebrauchten Batterien auf eigene Kosten zu sammeln und zu recyceln. Aber wie findet dieses Recycling statt? Lithium-Ionen-Batterien k\u00f6nnen in Elektrobussen oder -autos mindestens sieben bis zehn Jahre lang verwendet werden. Die meisten von ihnen haben danach noch etwa 80 % ihrer urspr\u00fcnglichen Kapazit\u00e4t. F\u00fcr ein Elektroauto mag das nicht ausreichen, vor allem wenn es sich um ein \u00e4lteres Modell mit einer eher begrenzten Reichweite handelt, aber f\u00fcr andere Anwendungen ist es mehr als genug. Ein Beispiel: 4.200 Solarpaneele wurden auf dem Dach der Johan Cruijff Arena, dem Fu\u00dfballstadion von Ajax Amsterdam, installiert. Sie erzeugen tags\u00fcber Strom, obwohl der Strom haupts\u00e4chlich am Abend verbraucht wird, wenn die Fu\u00dfballmannschaft spielt, oder f\u00fcr die Stadionbeleuchtung und die verschiedenen Bildschirme und Essensst\u00e4nde. Genau aus diesem Grund wird der tags\u00fcber erzeugte Strom in den Batterien alter Nissan LEAFs gespeichert! <\/p>\n<h2>Reparatur<\/h2>\n<p> Recycling ist eine Sache, aber kann man eine defekte Batterie reparieren? In diesem Bereich wird derzeit viel geforscht und entwickelt. In einem Batteriereparaturcenter (BRC) werden komplette Fahrzeuge mit einer defekten Batterie abgegeben. Sobald das Fahrzeug im BRC eintrifft, wird es mit Hilfe eines speziellen Hubtisches und Montagebolzen zerlegt. Bevor Beginn der Reparatur wird die Batterie in mehreren Schritten f\u00fcr die Arbeit gesichert. Der Reparaturprozess selbst ist im Wesentlichen ein Austauschprozess. Einzelne Zellen, die defekt sind, werden nicht ersetzt. Sie bilden Module aus 8 16 oder 32 Zellen, die in Reihe geschaltet sind. Wenn das Modul, das die defekte(n) Zelle(n) enth\u00e4lt, gefunden wird, wird das gesamte Modul ersetzt. <\/p>\n<h2>Ethisch einwandfreie Materialien<\/h2>\n<p> Die Gewinnung von Batteriematerialien stellt ebenfalls eine Herausforderung dar. Die heutigen Lithium-Ionen-Batterien bestehen aus Lithium, Nickel, Kobalt und Mangan, und diese seltenen Materialien sind nicht ohne weiteres verf\u00fcgbar. Lithium wird zum Beispiel haupts\u00e4chlich in den Salzw\u00fcsten von Bolivien, Chile und Argentinien abgebaut &#8211; oft als \u201eLithium-Dreieck\u201d bezeichnet &#8211; w\u00e4hrend Kobalt in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo abgebaut wird. Der Abbau dieser seltenen Mineralien kann erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die Menschenrechte haben. Dazu geh\u00f6ren ein enormer Wasserverbrauch, m\u00f6gliche kurzfristige negative Auswirkungen auf Fauna und Flora und in einigen F\u00e4llen Arbeit unter extrem gef\u00e4hrlichen Bedingungen. Aus diesen Gr\u00fcnden setzen sich viele Parteien &#8211; von lokalen NGOs bis hin zu Fahrzeugherstellern und anderen &#8211; f\u00fcr eine ethischere und verantwortungsvollere Beschaffung dieser seltenen Mineralien ein. <\/p>\n<h2>Ein zweites Leben<\/h2>\n<p> Das beste Recycling ist nat\u00fcrlich, dem ganzen Auto ein zweites Leben zu geben. Die Elektroautos, die Sie heute auf dem Gebrauchtwagenmarkt finden, haben eine Autonomie von etwa 300 bis 400 km, und nach vier bis acht Jahren Betriebszeit bleibt davon mindestens 80 bis 90 % \u00fcbrig. Mit anderen Worten, sie sind f\u00fcr den t\u00e4glichen Gebrauch sicher nicht abgeschrieben und zu einem Preis zu haben, der viel g\u00fcnstiger ist als ein neues EV.
