By removing manual conversions and unexpected exchange costs, this new capability delivers clearer pricing, potential savings and faster checkout for buyers on the openlane.eu marketplace. This feature is now available for Polish and Czech customers, with additional markets launching soon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:3rem;\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><span>The OPENLANE platform will now instantly display the highest current bid in the buyer\u2019s preferred currency, with a fixed exchange rate applied from the start of the auction, while also displaying the euro price as a transparent reference. <\/span>This helps avoid additional conversion costs and reduces the need for costly international bank transfers.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond pricing transparency and cost savings, payments will also be faster. Czech buyers can pay directly in CZK, Polish buyers can pay directly in Polish Zlotys with fewer steps, helping them complete transactions faster and get back to buying.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>By bringing transparent local-currency pricing and payments to our marketplace for cross-border transactions, we\u2019re taking the guesswork out for our Czech and Polish buyers, so they can plan margins better, move faster and reduce avoidable costs,\u201d says Grainne van Berkum, President at OPENLANE Europe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Czech and Polish buyers can now enable their local currency in their account settings and set it as their default currency.
