Comment Porsche a-t-elle r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 devenir l&rsquo;une des rares marques de l&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-guerre \u00e0 s&rsquo;imposer comme l&rsquo;un des constructeurs automobiles les plus r\u00e9put\u00e9s au monde ? OPENLANE s&rsquo;est plong\u00e9e dans les riches archives de Porsche et a d\u00e9cel\u00e9 7 \u00e9tapes importantes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_medium\"><\/div><div class=\"g-cols wpb_row via_grid cols_1 laptops-cols_inherit tablets-cols_inherit mobiles-cols_1 valign_top type_default stacking_default\" style=\"--columns-gap:3rem;\" id=\"timeline--container\"><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>1948<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>Les d\u00e9buts &#8211; la 356<\/h4>\n<p>La l\u00e9gende veut que Ferry Porsche n&rsquo;ait pas trouv\u00e9, peu apr\u00e8s la Seconde Guerre mondiale, de voiture capable de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ses attentes \u00e9lev\u00e9es&#8230; et qu&rsquo;il ait commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 en construire une lui-m\u00eame. Le r\u00e9sultat a suivi en 1948 avec la 356 qui porte son nom, une voiture de sport s&rsquo;appuyant sur les fondations de Volkswagen avec un moteur boxer de 1,1 litre refroidi par l&rsquo;air. Peu apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9but de la production en s\u00e9rie (en 1950, ndlr), la voiture, qui ne p\u00e8se que 585 kilogrammes, s&rsquo;est fait un nom et une renomm\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa maniabilit\u00e9 sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent pour l&rsquo;\u00e9poque. La 356 restera en production jusqu&rsquo;en 1965, avec un total de 79 000 exemplaires construits.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>1963<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>La perc\u00e9e de la 911<\/h4>\n<p>En 1963 d\u00e9j\u00e0, Porsche propose un successeur \u00e0 la 356 : la 901, \u00e9quip\u00e9e d&rsquo;un 2-liter six cylindres de, tenez-vous bien, 130 ch. Apr\u00e8s une plainte de Peugeot qui avait enregistr\u00e9 tous les types de noms avec un 0 au milieu, la voiture est rebaptis\u00e9e 911, un chiffre qui est d\u00e9sormais li\u00e9 une fois pour toutes \u00e0 la voiture de sport la plus compl\u00e8te que le monde ait jamais produite. Avec la 911, Porsche illustre la solidit\u00e9 du concept de base de ses voitures de sport : car plus de 50 ans et 1 million d&rsquo;exemplaires plus tard, la \u00fcber-Porsche est pratiquement inchang\u00e9e. Les Allemands d\u00e9montrent leur ma\u00eetrise dans presque toutes les disciplines de courses imaginables, avec des victoires retentissantes dans des \u00e9v\u00e9nements d&rsquo;endurance telles que Le Mans, la Targa Florio et les 24 Heures de Daytona. En 1984, Porsche peut m\u00eame ajouter le Paris-Dakar \u00e0 son palmar\u00e8s avec une 911 convertie en Carrera 4\u00d74. Deux ans plus tard, ils r\u00e9cidivent, cette fois avec une 959 mangeuse de sable.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>1976-1987<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>La p\u00e9riode bo\u00eete-pont<\/h4>\n<p>Dans les ann\u00e9es 70, Porsche souhaite g\u00e9n\u00e9rer de la croissance par l&rsquo;expansion de l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle industrielle, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la politique actuelle de Volkswagen. On note une collaboration avec Volkswagen pour la production de la 914, plus connue sous le nom de Volkswagen Porsche, mais les volumes importants demeurent. Pendant ce temps, la crise p\u00e9troli\u00e8re affecte gravement l&rsquo;industrie automobile europ\u00e9enne, et la coop\u00e9ration entre Volkswagen et Porsche pour le successeur pr\u00e9vu &#8211; la 924 &#8211; est remise en question. Porsche, cependant, refuse d&rsquo;abandonner le projet et commence en 1976 la production de la 924. Ce mod\u00e8le remplace le moteur central de la 914 par une configuration bo\u00eete-pont (moteur avant et transmission arri\u00e8re) et marque ainsi le d\u00e9but d&rsquo;une g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00e0 bo\u00eete-pont couronn\u00e9e de succ\u00e8s qui s&rsquo;ach\u00e8vera avec les 928, 944 et 968.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>1987<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>La crise<\/h4>\n<p>\u00c0 la fin des ann\u00e9es 80, apr\u00e8s avoir renonc\u00e9 \u00e0 la 924, Porsche doit soudain faire face \u00e0 une gamme limit\u00e9e et fragment\u00e9e. Les co\u00fbts de production augmentent, mais les volumes restent inutilis\u00e9s. En outre, Porsche est frapp\u00e9e de plein fouet par la crise boursi\u00e8re de 1987, pendant laquelle la vente de la 911 s&rsquo;\u00e9croule compl\u00e8tement&#8230; avec une menace de faillite. Au d\u00e9part de CEO Peter Schutz en 1987, Porsche est au bord de l&rsquo;effondrement financier. Le directeur financier Heinz Branitzky prend alors la rel\u00e8ve. Il est m\u00eame envisag\u00e9 de sacrifier la 911. Heureusement, cela n&rsquo;a pas lieu, et apr\u00e8s une restructuration en profondeur sous la direction de Wendelin Wiedeking, la marque se reprend \u00e0 temps.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>2002<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>Le renouveau<\/h4>\n<p>C&rsquo;est \u00e9galement le m\u00eame Wiedeking qui, avec le soutien de la famille Porsche, fait pression pour ajouter un SUV au portefeuille. La quasi-totalit\u00e9 du monde crie au meurtre et au feu lorsque la Cayenne est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au monde en 2002, et c&rsquo;est encore pire lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;av\u00e8re qu&rsquo;un moteur diesel est utilis\u00e9. Aujourd&rsquo;hui encore, la Cayenne reste une plaie pour de nombreux puristes, mais personne ne peut nier que le SUV a \u00e9t\u00e9 d&rsquo;une importance vitale pour la survie de la marque. Sans la Cayenne, la Panamera et les variantes hybrides tr\u00e8s disput\u00e9es de ces deux mod\u00e8les, la 911 pourrait appartenir au pass\u00e9 aujourd&rsquo;hui&#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-vwrapper align_none valign_top\" style=\"--vwrapper-gap:0.7rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column timeline--year\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>2018-<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-hwrapper valign_top stack_on_mobiles timeline--content align_none\" style=\"--hwrapper-gap:1.2rem\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h4>L&rsquo;avenir<\/h4>\n<p>Comme tous les constructeurs automobiles, Porsche est aujourd&rsquo;hui \u00e0 l&rsquo;aube d&rsquo;une transformation sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. Avec le soutien du groupe Volkswagen, lui-m\u00eame grand pionnier de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectromobilit\u00e9, Porsche finalise la Taycan, plus connue sous le nom de projet \u00ab Mission E \u00bb, une berline \u00e9lectrique pr\u00e9vue pour 2019 qui, selon Porsche, incarne l&rsquo;avenir de la voiture de sport. La voiture \u00e0 quatre places a une puissance de 600 hp et promet un rayon d&rsquo;action de plus de 500 km, un sprint de 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 3,5 secondes et un temps de seulement 15 minutes pour recharger les batteries jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 80 %. Pour l&rsquo;instant, la Porsche 911 continue de jurer par son d\u00e9licieux \u00ab flat six \u00bb.
