De plannen zijn erop gericht om elektrische voertuigen te integreren en omvatten een feitelijk verbod op de verkoop van nieuwe benzine- en dieselvoertuigen, evenals hybriden en plug-in hybriden (PHEV) vanaf 2035. Het verminderen van de uitstoot van broeikasgassen door voertuigen door strengere doelen zal dan ook bijdragen aan de algemene doelstellingen. De Europese Unie (EU) streeft naar koolstofneutraliteit tegen 2050, en wil de CO2-uitstoot verminderen ten opzichte van 2021 met 15% in 2025 55% in 2030 en 100% in 2035. Deze laatste doelstelling betekent dat tegen 2035 alleen nulemissievoertuigen, zoals batterij-elektrische voertuigen (BEV&#8217;s) en brandstofcelvoertuigen op waterstof (FCEV&#8217;s), beschikbaar zullen zijn op de nieuwe automarkt. <\/p>\n<h2>Concessies&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p> De plannen hebben enige bezorgdheid gewekt bij autofabrikanten en nationale overheden. Tijdens de recente vergadering van ministers en de Milieuraad werden daarom enkele clausules opgenomen in de definitieve plannen, in de hoop sommige partijen gerust te stellen. De belangrijkste clausule is een nieuwe paragraaf waarin wordt voorgesteld onderzoek te doen naar de mogelijkheden van synthetische brandstoffen, ook wel e-fuels genoemd. Op dit punt heeft Duitsland hard gelobbyd, gesteund door lidstaten die de voorstellen in Richtlijn 2035 in hun huidige vorm niet wilden accepteren. De Commissie heeft daarom artikel 9a ingevoegd, waarin staat dat zij na 2035 een voorstel zal indienen voor de registratie van voertuigen die uitsluitend op CO2-neutral lopen. De meeste autofabrikanten zullen waarschijnlijk de technologie van verbrandingsmotoren (ICE) geleidelijk afschaffen terwijl ze miljarden investeren in auto&#8217;s met nulemissie. Maar de ontwikkeling van e-brandstoffen zou sommige fabrikanten in staat kunnen stellen om nieuwe ICE-modellen te blijven verkopen op markten waar de infrastructuur ontbreekt. Bovendien kunnen duurzaam geproduceerde e-fuels de markt voor tweedehands auto&#8217;s ten goede komen, omdat bestuurders hun voertuigen blijven rijden, wat op zijn beurt hun CO2-voetafdruk verkleint. <\/p>\n<h2>&#8230;en anomalie\u00ebn<\/h2>\n<p> De bijgewerkte plannen breiden de vrijstellingen ook uit naar autofabrikanten die minder dan 10.000 voertuigen per jaar produceren. Momenteel zijn deze fabrikanten tot 2030 vrijgesteld van de CO2-doelstellingen. De laatste versie van het document &#8216;Fit for 55&#8217; bevat een amendement dat deze termijn met vijf jaar verlengt. Deze bepaling wordt door sommigen het &#8216;Ferrari-amendement&#8217; genoemd, omdat het bijzonder belangrijk is voor fabrikanten van sportauto&#8217;s. Het wordt gezien als een concessie aan Itali\u00eb, de thuisbasis van veel fabrikanten van sportauto&#8217;s die daar hun reputatie op het gebied van prestaties en ontwerp hebben opgebouwd, op basis van verbrandingsmotoren. Batterij-elektrische voertuigen (BEV&#8217;s) zijn doorgaans zwaarder dan benzine- en diesel equivalenten. Desondanks kunnen de prestaties van standaard BEV&#8217;s net zo indrukwekkend zijn als die van sommige sportwagens Dankzij de verlenging van de overeenkomst met vijf jaar kunnen sportwagenmerken zich concentreren op de ontwikkeling van lichte elektrische technologie zonder afgeleid te worden door de doelstellingen voor 2025 en 2030. De door de ministers goedgekeurde voorstellen zullen later dit jaar ter bespreking aan het Europees Parlement worden voorgelegd. Het volledige &#8216;Fit for 55&#8217;-pakket zal naar verwachting eind 2022 worden goedgekeurd. Op dat moment kunnen autofabrikanten beginnen met het plannen van hun toekomstige modelreeksen en kan de uitfasering van nieuwe benzine- en dieselvoertuigen beginnen.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Artikel geschreven door Effective Media.
