Desondanks is Covid, net als voor veel aspecten van de samenleving, een versnellende factor geweest voor vele ontwikkelingen. Met de huidige situatie is&#x00a0;<strong>de volatiliteit van de Europese markten nog nooit zo hoog geweest<\/strong>, wat een breed scala aan mogelijkheden cre\u00ebert voor kopers en verkopers, als ze allebei de juiste instrumenten gebruiken. Voor deze analyse hebben we voertuigen bestudeerd die OPENLANE afgelopen november, december en januari heeft geveild. Voor al deze auto&#8217;s hebben we hun marktwaarde (consumentenprijs) en verkooptijd (gemiddelde voorraaddagen) berekend, waarbij we Gocar Data, het grootste markt-observatie-platform in Europa, als referentie hebben gebruikt. Aangezien wij ons richten op de auto&#8217;s die door OPENLANE worden geveild, is dit geen volledige marktanalyse, maar wel een uitgebreid overzicht van de voertuigen op dit platform. Dit zijn typische grensoverschrijdende verkopen, wat deze benadering relevant maakt voor onze activiteit. <\/p>\n<h2>Een panoramisch beeld van de Europese markt<\/h2>\n<p> De volgende tabellen tonen de prestaties van elk land ten opzichte van het Europees gemiddelde. In blauw hebben we de landen gemarkeerd waarvan de gemiddelde marktwaarde hoger is dan de algemene prijzen. En in het groen hebben we de merken ge\u00efdentificeerd waar zowel de waarde als de verkooptijd beter presteren dan de rest van de landen. Op het eerste gezicht zien we dat de 3 &#8216;meest hete&#8217; landen de afgelopen 3 maanden, Frankrijk Oostenrijk en Portugal zijn. De laatste twee presteren verreweg het beste voor onze belangrijkste merken. Specifieker nog, Oostenrijk heeft een sterke verkooptijd (minder voorraaddagen), terwijl Portugal heel Europa overtreft qua marktwaarde. Dit betekent echter niet dat we ons alleen op die 2 markten moeten richten. Zoals we vervolgens zullen zien, is de situatie genuanceerder wanneer we dieper in de analyse duiken. Deze 2 landen zijn door hun vrij beperkte lokale markt vanwege hun omvang, niet in staat al het volume uit heel Europa te absorberen. Een van de belangrijkste lessen uit deze maandelijkse tabel is de volatiliteit. Om een voorbeeld te geven: Belgi\u00eb presteerde in november beter dan heel Europa voor Toyota, maar in de daaropvolgende 2 maanden niet. Aan de andere kant presteerde dezelfde markt in december en januari bovengemiddeld voor Volkswagen. Meer dan ooit geldt: de waarheid van vandaag is niet altijd die van morgen! Wanneer we ons bijvoorbeeld richten op de verschillende modellen van een merk, zien we duidelijke verschillen in de rangschikking van landen voor wat betreft de hoogste marktwaarde. BMW toont een interessant profiel voor deze analyse. De rangschikking van Portugal als hoogste land blijft correct, maar we zien dat voor de X-serie (X1 &amp; X3 in deze top 10), Nederland een nog hogere marktwaarde voor de klant biedt. Portugal staat niet eens in de top 3 voor de X3. Maar we zien ook variatie van maand tot maand. Door analyse van het Mercedes-modelassortiment zien we veranderingen. Een voorbeeld: voor de &#8216;Class E Break&#8217; voerde Oostenrijk de ranglijst aan in december en januari, maar stond in november slechts op de derde plaats.
