OPENLANE Germany appoints Jasmin Meier as Country Manager
Tienen, 30 April 2026 – OPENLANE Europe, a subsidiary of OPENLANE, Inc., has appointed Jasmin Meier as the new country manager for OPENLANE Germany, effective 1 May 2026. In her new role, Meier will lead the German entity, focusing on driving growth in the online used car marketplace.
Jasmin Meier succeeds Florian Kracheel, who has held the position of country manager Germany since July 2024.
Meier brings nearly 20 years of automotive experience and more than 11 years with OPENLANE to the position. Since joining the company in 2015, she has held a number of senior roles across auction, trading and operations, steadily expanding her responsibilities in Germany and at a European level.
After starting as an Auction Specialist at OPENLANE (formerly known as the German GWListe), she became the company’s first Trading Specialist in Germany in 2017. She later took on leadership responsibility for auction and trading activities, before assuming responsibility for the company’s full operational setup in Germany in 2020. Most recently, she has served as Head of Purchase & Pricing Europe and as Managing Director of Car Quality Services, where she helped establish a wholesale trading company.
