1.3 How can I prove my activity as a car trader or dealer?

If you’ve registered with OPENLANE, we’ll guide you through a few additional questions to verify your profile and become a Verified Buyer.

As part of the verification process, you will be asked to upload your company registration documents. These documents should show that your company is active in the automotive trade, for example through NACE codes related to car trading and vehicle sales (such as 45.11, 50.10, or equivalent activities in your country).

If your current company registration documents do not include automotive trading activities, you may need to extend your company’s registered activities through the relevant authority in your country before completing the verification process.

Once your profile and documents have been reviewed and approved, you will become a Verified Buyer and gain full access to purchase vehicles on OPENLANE.
